Our History &  Mission

 

ICSJ was established in 1993 A.D/1414 A.H. The current property and building were acquired and first time congregational (Maghreb) prayer was conducted in June 1995 /Rajab 1415 A.H. Currently the mosque is open for daily prayers five times a day including Friday prayer.

 

ICSJ has established the first masjid and the first-weekend Islamic school in Burlington township. ICSJ is governed and directed by its constitution,  Board members, a non-compensated executive body. 

 

The Islamic Center of South Jersey, Inc. is a nonprofit organization registered in the state of New Jersey. ICSJ holds a tax-exempt status under the Internal Revenue Code (IRC § 501(c)(3)). ICSJ provides all Islamic services to the Palmyra, Cinnaminson, Delran, Moorestown, and neighboring cities in New Jersey.
